Growing up on the ocean this Manu or Frigate bird symbol has always meant a lot to me and I have two birds tattooed on my arm symbolising my daughter and I. This bird symbol and its many variants are used throughout all the Pacific Islands with many representations such as freedom, travel, adventure and safe return.
