HOW WILL MY JEWELRY BE PACKAGED?

Our packaging is made locally and supports a group of local Fijian women.

Every jewel comes with our locally sewn and screen-printed calico cotton and mesh gift carry bag.

EACH GIFT BAG CONTAINS

  • VAU ROSETTE tied to the handle. Our vau rosettes are made from vau or beach hibiscus plant bark which is stripped, soaked, pounded, colour dyed and finally crafted one by one into rosettes. Rosettes are traditionally used in Fijian Salusalu garlands.
  • MASI POUCH. Our masi pouches are soft and protect and contain your jewelry. These are also made by our group of Fijian women. To make masi, the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree is soaked in water in strips until soft. The strips are then beaten with a wooden paddle, which spreads the fibres apart to create a natural cloth-like material.
  • A postcard with information and contacts for Adorn Pacific Island Jewels.

I absolutely loveeeeee my ring ! 🫶

The first piece in my "big girl" jewelry collection that I bought myself as a " push present " for pushing through my last semester of University and for graduating with a degree in Environment👩‍🎓.

A frigate bird for the girl who grew up watching them fly along the coast to learning about them in university as a traditional early warning system , For the frigate birds that filled my childhood skies, the lessons they carried, and the adventures still waiting ahead as I begin a new chapter in my life and the adventures ahead - A small ring with a lifetime of meaning.

Also love that the ladies greeted both locals and tourists as they entered the showroom when I visited and absolutely loved the customer service and the ring quality as someone who has sensitive skin when wearing jewellery - will definitely be buying more sets and I LOVE that they are inspired by our Pasifika people and culture whilst also supporting local artisans specifically local women in doing so . . . love love love your work Adorn Pacific x 🙌
